Summer Research Fellowship
Awarded to a first-year student entering a Physics and Astronomy module, this Fellowship offers paid work with a Physics and Astronomy faculty member-led research group for 12 weeks in Summer 2024.
How to apply
1. Choose from our undergraduate research projects.
2. Contact your potential supervisor to let them know you will be applying
3. Obtain an academic Letter of Recommendation and write a one-page personal statement on your long-term goals and your interest in research participation. Submit these to jennifer.tilston@uwo.ca by 5pm on Friday, March 22, 2024
Application requirements
Applicants must have successfully completed Physics 1201/1401/1501 and be in good standing in Physics 1202/1402/1502 or WISc1001X Physics at the time of their application.
Any student who applies for the internship will automatically be considered for other paid summer research projects in the department. Students who have been awarded an NSERC USRA are not eligible for this award.
