Modelling and Measurement of Flow in Aneurysm Models

Project Description (Abstract):
Vascular flow models and measurement platforms provide a critical tool for exploring complex flow in vascular geometries, including the effects of interventional devices (e.g. flow diverters to treat brain aneurysms). An example project is using laser particle image velocimetry (PIV) to study aneurysm models and investigate the role of device deployment on local flow patterns.
