Financial Information
All MSc and PhD graduate students are provided with competitive funding support packages for both living expenses and tuition costs (without the need for non-University work or student loans). These funds are derived from a variety of sources including the Western Graduate Research Scholarship, Graduate Fellowship, and Teaching Assistantships.
Increased funding is offered to major scholarship holders, for example (NSERC PGS-D/M, CGS-D/M, OGS/OGSST). If you will hold such a scholarship, please contact the Department for a detailed salary offer.
Tuition fees are paid three times per year, at the beginning of each term, and are subject to change.
