Alignment of Stellar Rotation Axes

Project Description (Abstract):

The disk emission from rapidly rotating stars allows one to determine the orientation of the star’s rotation axis to the observer’s line of sight. Detecting correlations between stellar rotation axes in star clusters can provide new constraints on the process of star formation.
