Sarah Gallagher Named Science Advisor to the Canadian Space Agency

Professor Sarah Gallagher has been named the Canadian Space Agency's first-ever science advisor. The announcement was made by Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Navdeep Bains.

During the two-year appointment, Dr. Gallagher will report directly to Canadian Space Agency president Sylvain Laporte, helping shape the future of Canadian space science and promoting space research to inspire the next generation of Canadian space scientists. 

The entire department congratulates Sarah on this well-deserved appointment and amazing opportunity.
