New Graduate Student Meet and Greet
On Friday September 8, 2017 the Department of Physics and Astronomy hosted a meet and greet luncheon to welcome the incoming class of gradaute students. This year's class includes 17 new students in addtion to five recent Master's students who are continuing on to persue their Doctoral degrees.
The event was well attended, with plenty of old faces mingling with the new, giving staff, faculty, researchers and fellow studnets a chance to introduce themselves to the new class in a relaxed and informal environment. It was a great way to bring the P&A community together to kick off the new school year.
