Gordon McBean Receives Top Award
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Western is proud to announce that Adjunct Professor Dr. Gordon McBean is the recipient of this year's International Meteorological Organization (IMO) prize.
From the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) website, "the IMO Prize is the equivalent of the Nobel prize for meteorology. Established in 1955 and named after the predecessor of the WMO, the International Meteorological Organization (IMO), it is awarded every year by WMO Executive Council".
