I have developed and maintain a radiative transfer code called PyRaTE (Python Radiative Transfer Emission). PyRaTE is developed for post-processing astrochemical simulations and it aims at bridging the gap between observations and simulations.

PyRaTE is freely available and can be downloaded from here.

Some features of PyRaTE are:

  • Multilevel code, calculating the population densities under non-LTE conditions.

  • Can handle multiple geometries and projection angles.

  • Easy-to-use interfaces for importing and exporting data from dynamical simulations.

  • A number of auxiliary modules for facilitating comparison with observations.

I hope you will find PyRaTE useful in your research!
