PASA - Physics and Astronomy Student Association
The Physics and Astronomy Student Association consists of undergraduate students in 2nd year and above in the Physics or Astronomy programs at Western. Our purpose is to enhance the undergraduate student experience through organizing numerous social events, actively seeking to recruit more students to the program, providing services to first-years, and being active in physics outreach. Gradient @ the Grad Club will take place Jan 16, 2020 from 6-10pm. Gradient is an annual gathering of students and faculty in an informal setting. There will be food and trivia! Tickets are available from the PASA office for $5 each.
Movie Night at Western Film in UCC. Wall-E, January 20 at 7pm
Silk Screen Workshop. On January 30, 2020 we will be making our own unique t-shirts! Details to come.

Physics Help Centre – Every week, PASA hosts a help centre for students of all years where PASA members volunteer their time to help tutor. Help Center is held in PAB 48 on Tuesdays from 1:30-3:30 and on Thursdays from 1:30-2:30.
Every year PASA hosts a Physics Undergraduate Conference (otherwise known as PhUnC) that gives undergraduates from across the province the opportunity to share their research through mini talks and poster sessions. This year's conference date is Thursday March 12, 2020. The keynote speaker this year is Michael Kolios. The schedule will be: Welcome Speech, Poster presentations, lunch & industry fair, keynote speaker, grad student chat, oral presentations, trivia, dinner & awards!
